What Went Where

The evening saw KDD Founder Almaz Ohene curate a series of film shorts, which all explore sexuality, bodies and desire. And the team will also welcome onboard new illustrator, Visual-Ess, who’ll be drawing all of Kayleigh’s sexcapades for the rest of Season 1.

Almaz chaired a panel titled ‘Pornography as pedagogy: what young people learn about sex from mainstream porn’ at the Sexplain annual conference. This panel will discuss how pornography impacts young people’s perceptions of sex, and what it means for sex education, by looking at the moral panic (or lack thereof)  associated with porn. With panellists Nadia Deen, Founder, AM Appointment; Gayathiri Kamalakanthan, Decolonise Contraception member; George Karkera, Anastasia Meredith-Goujon, Co-Founder, Hot Local Artists.
